I fell in love with his story and became so fond of the real-life "characters" who were close to him. I'm sorry that the advance review copies didn't include photographs. Fortunately, the finished hardcover and ebooks feature 20 black and white photos -- including several from Marion duPont's scrapbooks (now held at James Madison's Montpelier). You'll see Marion duPont and Bruce Hobbs as children with their favorite ponies, Battleship jumping, grown-up Marion duPont with Randolph Scott, and more.
